Your SHIP Volunteer Day Alumni Host is Dan Brown '04.
Please provide your time and join fellow Ship Alumni along with your friends and family at this volunteer service project. Ship Alumni are volunteering at Cradles to Crayons - The Giving Factory from 10 AM - 12 NOON.
What we will do: Groups are separated into a clothing section, books section, and toys section. We will check donated items for quality, making sure clothing is not torn or dirty and that toys work. We will sort the items by age and package the items to be given away.
Volunteers are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to bring in new and gently used children's items to donate (clothing, books, toys, school supplies, and baby equipment). Even one pair of shoes or a few articles of clothing make a difference in the life of a child in need- please collect as much as you can! Right now, certain "hard to get items" are desperately needed, including new socks and underwear (Infant - 14/16) and boys pants sizes 9/10 - 14/16. A list of their Top 10 Most-Needed items is available from: http://www.cradlestocrayons.org/philadelphia/donate-goods/items-we-accept
RSVP: Please register with us by clicking the REGISTER NOW button below. After you RSVP, volunteers are asked to pre-register with C2C. This will make sign-in simple and quick on our volunteer day!
