The Breast Cancer Partner Presents Songs in the Key of “C”  is a music event to highlight the cause, community and cure for breast cancer.  It will be a unique event in South Florida focused on breast cancer awareness. Songs in the Key of "C", hosted local TV/Radio personality Tamara Gee, will feature the amazing vocal stylings of Nicole Henry, Maryel Epps, Heather Craig, and SoJay backed by the Affiliated Soul Team band.

Songs in the Key of “C” will be a funfilled evening with great food, great entertainment and great connections.  There will be amazing silent auction items,  gifts, and even a chance to win an ocean view cruise for two on the Norwegian Sky and a comissioned work of art created by artist Andre Allen. We all know that October is recognized as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  However, once the month ends there is minimal “hype” about the cause, communication on the importance of early detection, and encouragement for women to get their mammograms until the following October. Breast Cancer Partner’s  vision is to break that cycle by hosting a music event held about the mid-way point between the previous and the next year’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, i.e. in March.  March is also Women’s History Month, so it is an excellent time to promote an important aspect of women’s health and wellness – breast health.  Proceeds from the event’s silent auction will benefit the Women’s Breast Health Initiative Florida Affiliate (WBHI), a 501C3 that provides access to free mammograms for women in South Florida who live in underserved communities and/or do not have adequate healthcare or insurance to cover the cost for their annual mammograms. 

Please join us for what will truly be a night to remember and help us in our effcorts to continue spreading the word, beyond the month of October, about the importance of early detection.  Why? Because early detection saves lives!
