The Inaugural Day After The Masters Classic at Mirimichi

The First Tee of Memphis is excited to announce that at 8am on Monday, April 9, 2012, we will be hosting The Inaugural Day After The Masters Classic, at Mirimichi! This will be a fundraising event for the program with no specific format for play. So whether you haven't had a chance to make it out to Mirimichi yet, or if you've already fallen in love with the golf course, that won the 2012 "Golf Course of the Year" Award from the Tennessee Turfgrass Association, you can come play at one of the premiere golf courses in the country while supporting The First Tee of Memphis at the same time!

Here is a quote about the course from PGA Tour Professional and long time supporter of our program, Loren Roberts, "I was really surprised the first time that I stepped on the first tee at Mirimichi and saw all of the native grasses and what wonderful changes had been made to the course. I played on the original Big Creek Golf course and it’s hard for anyone to imagine how different and special Mirimichi is now. There is no doubt in my mind that Mirimichi, with the recent upgrades made to the course, will host a top caliber event in the near future – Personally, I can’t wait to play there again."

The cost will be $135 for an individual, or $500 for a foursome to participate in the event. This will include a light breakfast, access to the driving range prior to the 8am shotgun start, 18 holes on the Championship Course with Cart Fee and lunch after play.
