Providence 2012 Cardiovascular Symposium
Course Objectives:
This activity is designed for all medical specialists involved in treating cardiovascular diseases. The content will enable practitioners to gain insight into the latest techniques and advances and incorporate changes into practice. At the end of the two-day conference, attendees will be able to:- Determine the indications and patient selection for new diagnostic and treatment advances for cardiovascular disease.
- Describe the efficacy, safety, and long term outcomes of these new treatment advances.
- Cite data which validates concepts of new advances and incorporate into practice.
- Articulate the relationship between cultural risk factors/cultural disparities that impact the epidemiology, incidence, diagnosis, treatment, clinical course, and/or long term outcomes of cardiovascular disease.
Target Audience: This course is designed for the clinical cardiologist, vascular surgeon, cardiac surgeon, internist, radiologist, emergency medicine physician, primary care physician and allied health professional (cardiac nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, cardiac technologist).
