Who Should Come?

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning & allied youth ages 18 and under. (Youth aged 19-21 are also invited to join the event and share their experiences, but the conference focuses on high school aged students and youth.) We warmly welcome GSA advisors or other school staff & parent volunteers to attend.

What’s It Gonna Cost Me?

The entire event is free, including workshops, lunch, dinner, and entertainment.

Who’s Running This Show?

The Minnesota School OUTreach Coalition, a coalition of Minnesota students, educators, families, community members and organizations working within the broad context of schools to address the issues of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning people. How Do I Sign Up?

Every participant - including all volunteers, presenters, resource table people, entertainers & planning group members - must fill out the registration form below.

PLEASE NOTE: Parent permission slips will be handled by your individual school/school district's policy. We are not responsible for notifiying your school that you will be absent. Please talk to your GSA advisor or a trusted staff member.

How Am I Gonna Get There?

Some transportation is available. 

Refer to the Transportation Question on the form.

  • For Minneapolis Public School students, contact leigh.combs@thefamilypartnership.org.
  • For St. Paul Public School Students, contact Tiffany.lane@spps.org.  
  • Students from other school districts, check with your GSA advisors.
  • Students can also request bus tokens or mileage reimbursement on the registration form. 

What Should I Bring?

Bring a positive attitude and the willingness to network with other youth! Please do not bring any valuables, weapons, drugs, tobacco or alcohol.
