Linda Dowling Almeida, Adjunct Professor, New York University, New York
Linda Dowling Almeida B.A. '77, M.A.'79, Parent ’09 holds a Ph.D. from New York University and is currently an adjunct professor at the Glucksman Ireland House, NYU where she teaches history and literature and is co-director of the GIH Oral History Program.  Professor Almeida has published several articles, reviews, and a book titled Irish Immigrants in New York City, 1945-1995, focusing on Irish immigration to the United States in the 20th century. She is also the editor of the recently launched American Journal of Irish Studies (formerly Radharc), as well as the newsletter and reviews section of the journal for the New York Irish History Roundtable.  Since graduating from Boston College, Professor Almeida has remained an active BC alum, serving as a mentor to undergraduates, working on the reunion committees for her class, and is an associate member of the Council for Women at BC. 

Amy Chapman, Director of Faith Formation, St. Ignatius of Loyola, Chestnut Hill MA
Amy Chapman B.A. ’04. M.A. ’05, C.A.E.S. ’11 currently serves as the Director of Faith Formation at St. Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill.  A teacher by both training and vocation, she has been actively involved in catechetical ministry for the past fifteen years.  Amy has also taught religion and history in both Catholic and public schools at the middle and high school levels.  She has been published in both academic and trade journals on topics ranging from working with special needs students to Soteriology.  Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in History and secondary education, a Master’s degree in developmental psychology, and a Master’s degree in Religious Education, all from Boston College. 

Kathleen Clements, Professor, Saint Joseph's College, Maine
Dr. Clements B.A. ’82, is Assistant Professor of Education and Chair of the Education Department at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. She teaches language arts and writing methods, exceptionality, special education internship, and provides supervision for senior student teaching and the special education internships at the undergraduate level. Her current research interests include legislation in special education, educational leadership, and school law both in the public sector and in special education. She currently serves on the Higher Education Literacy Faculty Committee for the Maine Department of Education. She has served as a teacher, assistant principal, an elementary school principal, a Special Education Administrator, and the Coordinator for Elementary Education. She holds a M.S. in Educational Administration and Leadership  from the University of Houston at Clear Lake and an Ed.D. from Northcentral University in Exceptional Student Education.

Angela Crispi, Associate Dean, Harvard Business School, Boston, MA
Angela Crispi  B.A. '85, is the Associate Dean for Administration and Senior Executive Officer of Harvard Business School.  She leads an administrative organization of more than 1,000 employees with an operating budget exceeding $500 million.  She oversees the management of the School's operations and implementation of its strategy ensuring that planning, resource allocation, services, and organizational strategy support the mission of the School. She served as Chief Planning Officer, directing the creation of the School's master plan and leading the campus growth and renewal efforts, a near $500 million capital investment. She was active in the School's first campaign, which raised nearly $600 million.  She has held various roles including serving as a member of the MBA Admissions Board and directing the Financial Aid, Housing, Registrar, Student Affairs, and Community Relations Offices.  She served as Secretary of the Academic Performance Committee and was a founder of the School's Community Values Initiative.   

Crispi serves on the Harvard Business Publishing Board of Directors, the Harvard University Risk Management Council, and Harvard's Administrative Council comprising the University's senior administrative leaders which she co-chaired for five years.  She also was a founding member of the University Ombudsperson Council, and has served on Harvard's Clerical and Technical Workers Joint Council, and the University Physical Planning Committee.  She is a member of the Council of Women for Boston College, serves on BC and HBS reunion leadership committees, and has volunteered at The Roxbury Latin School, Ursuline Academy, and St. Joseph's School. She received a B.A. from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

MarieElena McGonigle, Afterschool Program Director, Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation, New York
MarieElena McGonigle B.A. ’96, M.Ed. ’98, received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education majoring in Elementary Education and Spanish as an undergraduate and studied Moderate Special Needs as a graduate student. Upon graduation in 1996, MarieElena taught for three years in the Boston Public Schools and a year in the elementary schools in the Arlington Public system. In 1997, while teaching at the Sarah Greenwood Elementary School in Dorchester, MarieElena was selected as a Donovan Scholar and received her M.Ed.  A move back to New York in 2000 led to a career change into Public Relations for nearly a decade. For the last two years, MarieElena has been working as a Director of After School Programs with the non-profit organization, Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation.

Susan Santoro, Vice President, Nexera Consulting, New York
Ms. Susan Santoro BA '74, is a seasoned healthcare professional with diversified industry experience in management consulting, academic medical center and community hospital environs.  Susan is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has held senior level positions responsible for hospital operations, health system strategic and business planning supporting service delivery enhancements and network development.  Her expertise includes integrating and translating market-based demand analysis, physician alignment, operations benchmarking and financial planning. 

She received her BA from Boston College Lynch School of Education and her MBA and Post Master’s Certification in Financial Management from the Hagan School of Business at Iona College.

Susan Shea, Council for Women at Boston College
A retired special education teacher, Susan Martinelli Shea B.A. '76, Parent '04, is making a difference for children who live in some of the most hard-pressed neighborhoods in Philadelphia. In 2005, inspired by the documentary film Mad Hot Ballroom, which depicts the positive effects that ballroom dancing has had on middle school students in New York City, Susan started her own non-profit organization, Dancing with the Students, a ballroom dancing program in inner-city Philadelphia. The program now operates in eight schools, providing ballroom dance classes to children in grades 5-10.

A University trustee, Ms. Shea also serves on numerous boards, including the Gesu School and the Please Touch Museum, both of which are located in Philadelphia. She is the recipient of the Great Friends to Kids Award and the Gesu Spirit Medal. She holds a M.S. from Johns Hopkins University.
