Retreat #1 - March 23-24; Retreat #2 - March 30-31

The Office of Youth Ministry and the Diocesan Youth Council invites all young people considering Confirmation and their adult mentors to attend one of our PreConfirmation Retreats!

Come enjoy the beginning of Spring at our diocesan Camp and Conference Center, and meet youth and adults from all over the diocese as we engage in conversations around why we personally choose to be confirmed! We will have small group workshops, large group games, worship that gets you both moving and thinking and above all else, time away from the stress of everyday life, so that we can pay a little more attention to the Spirit in this important time in your faith journey!

This retreat also offers a rare opportunity to interact on a more personal level with one of our bishops!  Bishop Tom Shaw will be attending Retreat #1, while Bishop Gayle Harris will be attending Retreat #2.

We do NOT want anything to stand in the way of a youth attending the retreat.  If money, transportation or finding a chaperone are standing in the way of a youth attending please contact Sam at sgould@diomass.org and we will figure out a way to make it work.

NOTE: There will be a BUS running to and from BOSTON for Retreat #2 (March 30-31).  There is a suggested donation of $20 per person to ride the bus.  For more information please contact Sam at sgould@diomass.org.

1. COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTER BELOW:

  • You can register up to 20 people at one time, but make sure you have all of the information at hand, because the system times out after 15 minutes
  • Have emergency contact information for each person (name and phone)
  • Find a CHAPERONE -- At least 1 adult for every 8 youth of the same gender 

2. DOWNLOAD, PRINT, and FILL OUT the RETREAT DOCUMENTS which are due at Retreat Check-in at the Barbara C. Harris Camp!

3. Get ready for a great weekend!  Check in begins at 7pm on Friday, and our first event begins at 8:15pm, so please prepare to arrive on time.  A checklist for things to bring can be found HERE.
