The Storm Trysail Foundation & New England Sailing and Science  Junior Safety@Sea Seminar 

 Please join the Storm Trysail Foundation and host,  New England Science and Sailing for a fun and educational day of boating safety. This seminar combines classroom sessions in the morning and then hands-on training in the afternoon on the water.   

Sessions will be lead by members of the Storm Trysail Club, Stoningtons local Fire Department and Life Raft & Survival Equipment demonstrating proper life raft deployment. 

Topics that will be covered: 

• Intro, Big Boat Gear and Life Raft
•  Heavy Weather and Shortening Sail
• MOB Prevention and Recovery
• Navigation and Electronics
• Medical
• Pyrotechnics 

                 ~ Price: $30.00 per Junior / $35.00 per Instructor.  Price includes morning snacks, lunch, water all day and end of the day awards presentation. 

       ~ BOATING Shoes only! Please do not wear flip-flops, Tevas or open toe shoes.

~ Please being a PFD, sun screen & hat.
