Tapas encompass a wide variety of appetizers in Spanish cuisine and have evolved through Spanish history by incorporating ingredients & influences of many different cultures. They can be served cold or warm and can be quite sophisticated. A plate of many tapas makes a lovely meal and is said to encourage engaging conversation, as one is not concentrating on eating a full dish. Allow Chef Alex to teach us some of her favorite & delicious tapas recipes in this hands-on and exciting cultural cooking class. Spanish wines, chosen by Newport Wine Cellar, will be paired with the Tapas menu.
