Music and Multimedia Summer Institute 2012 

Four days of classes at Champlain College, Burlington VT, sponsored by Music-COMP formerly Vermont MIDI Project - a community of technology innovators in schools since 1995. NEW this year, a pre-session day for those who wish to brush up on skills with the software for their class or who have never used the program in the course for which they are registering.

• Teaching and Learning Music Composition
  
• Creating and Sharing Music Curriculum Content with Noteflight Learning Edition
  
• Digital Audio: 21st Century Tools for Teaching and Learning (using Mixcraft or GarageBand)
  
• Independent Projects- Design Your Own Project in Music or Multimedia
  

$75 deposit or school PO# required by June 1, 2012 to receive early registration media of Snowball Blue Microphone or Korg micro track controller. Click on the link below to register for the 2012 Summer Institute.

*Computer equipment will NOT be supplied for any participant for any course. You are responsible for bringing a laptop. Software will be provided for any class using Noteflight. Mixcraft is available as a 15-day free, fully-functional download. If using GarageBand, it is recommended that you have a recent version. If you prefer to use your own copy of Sibelius or Finale for composition, be sure to bring it with you.
