With great pleasure and pride, we invite you to the 2012 Summer Theological Intensive that will be held on the campus of the historic Yale University on Tuesday, August 28th - Wednesday, August 29th. This intensive promises to be one of the best sessions in the history of the intensives.
Attendees will be treated to a powerpacked and extremely informative session on "The Art of Preaching and Conflict Management in the Church" that will include lectures from three leading theologians. The intensive will close with a stimulating dialogue and exchange on the second day that is modeled after the Council of Nicea, which took place in the year 325 AD and was the first of 21 Ecumenical Councils.
Bishop Rudolph Mckissick is one of the most celebrated voices in the body of Christ today. He is a graduate of Virginia Union University and holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the United Theological Seminary of Dayton, Ohio. He serves as the State Bishop of Florida and has delivered lectures and presentations on a number of college campuses around the countrry.
Bishop Andy C. Lewter holds degrees from Oberlin College, Harvard University and the United Theological Seminary. In addition to being the host and organizer of this intensive, he is described as being one of the foremost and articulate voices in the field of Church History. This particular topic on "How We Got the Bible" is a personal favorite of Bishop Lewter.
Register Now!Tuition: Take advantage of the "Early Bird Special" tuition of only $250 up until day, Sunday, July 15, 2012. Afterwhich, the tuition is $295. Tuition includes access to all sessions, a certificate of completion and DVD copies of all lectures that will be delivered during the intensive.
Hotel: In addition to tuition, students will be responsible for their travel and lodging. Special rates of $159 per night have been negotiated for students.
