Marsh Cruise
Hammocks Beach State Park
Swansboro
May 18
The coastal waters of central North Carolina are magical places. Here, where the rivers meet the sea, we come to nourish our youthful spirit by fishing, sailing, swimming and sometimes, just relaxing. Come get a closer look at and learn about these magnificent waters and why they are so special. The cruise meanders through the estuaries in and around the White Oak River and Bogue Sound.
The marsh cruise program begins at 11 a.m. (please arrive by 10:45 a.m.) at Hammocks Beach State Park (HABE) in Swansboro and will be led by NCCF staff. Space is limited on the covered ferry. There is no charge for the program, but a $5 ferry fee will be charged at HABE on your arrival the day of the cruise. All ages are welcome, though the program is geared towards older children and adults.
Our cruises tend to fill early so please register as soon as possible.
