Morris Tap & Grill , New Jersey Craft Beer and Civilization Of Beer education consulting are teaming up on May 7th to hold a one day intensive workshop for beer servers, sellers, bartenders and beer enthusiasts across the state.
This training will prepare culinary pros to pass the first level, Certified Beer Server® exam of the Cicerone Certification Beer Sommelier Program. Exam price ($69) included. Cicerone.org independently tests candidates on the knowledge most crucial to creating and maintaining diverse and profitable beer programs at retail.
Subjects covered are proper storage and service, ingredients, brewing process, flavor and evaluation, styles and pairing. Civilization of Beer's nationally recognized training utilizes a highly interactive, live platform with an emphasis on hands on, experiential tools like blind tasting.
When the training concludes, attendees will be treated to a full beer dinner where the pairing concepts of training will be applied deliciously by Chef Eric LeVine, Food Network Award Winning Chef of Morris Tap & Grill.
