Avalon's 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament for Women
 WOMEN HELPING WOMEN

Join us for a FUN-filled afternoon of golf on one of Williamsburg's most beautiful golf courses -- all while supporting local women and children in need. Too many in our community are dealing with the effects of domestic and sexual violence, and you can help ensure the resources are in place to provide their needed safety and assistance. 

This tournament is geared with women in mind -- from start to finish.   The best two ball of the foursome format will ensure beginners and seasoned players are able to fully enjoy the round, while allowing each player the opportunity to contribute to the team score. Prizes and goodies will be geared towards the woman's golf experience, and opportunities to enjoy a 'girlie' cocktail or two will add even more fun to the day.  

This is sure to be one tournament you will not want to miss!  Let's unite to play and to fundraise for a good cause!

We invite you to play a full 18-holes on the stunning Blue Heron course or a 9-hole tournament on the exceptional Marsh Hawk course.   

DETAILS 

1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start         18-Hole Tournament        $95 per player  or $380 per foursome

3:00 p.m. Shotgun Start           9-Hole Tournament         $55 per player or $220 per foursome

 Practice greens open at 12:00 Noon.  

18-Hole and 9-Hole Registration includes: Tournament play, carts, player goodie bag, prizes for top teams per flight, and a delicious dinner.

 ABOUT AVALON

All profits from this tournament will go directly to support Avalon: A Center for Women and Children.  Through emergency shelter, counseling services, advocacy, education and outreach, Avalon works daily to improve the lives of women and children that have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault.   As Williamsburg's only emergency shelter dedicated to serving the needs of these citizens, donations are continually needed to keep these services running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
