Payment Options:

Pay online at the time of registration or submit payment to the ASU Treasurer’s Office.  You may pay in full at any time, but at least two weeks before the first day of camp.  At minimum, a $15.00 deposit must be made one month prior to the start of the camp date to reserve a spot.  If spots are already filled one month prior to the start date, you will be refunded the $15.00 camp deposit fee.  If you cancel after the one month deadline, the $15.00 fee is non-refundable. The $15.00 deposit will apply to the camp cost unless you cancel after the one month period.

Checks By Mail:  Checks made payable to “Community Education” should include the student’s name and camp title(s)/time in the memo line.  ASU Treasurer’s Office, P.O. Box 2640, State University, AR 72467

Creative Writing Workshop 

 

 

Transform your cool story idea into a workable transcript.  Instructor John Abernathy has published two adult fiction novels and multiple specialty children's books.  Learn to illustrate your story with pictures as well as images, play writing games that get your creative juices flowing and build a porfolio full of story ideas you can use over and over again.  Students will explore all the elements of story writing and the unique attributes that make ann idea perfect for an I-can't-put-it-down thriller, mystery, drama, comedy or romance.
