Meetings with Remarkable Men & Women

All Laurel Springs families are invited to join us for May’s “Meetings with Remarkable Men & Women” symposium, featuring Kim Stroud of the Ojai Raptor Center.

The Ojai Raptor Center is dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of injured, displaced and orphaned birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, falcons, owls and vultures. 

Kim Stroud, Director of the Raptor Center, will introduce you to a peregrine falcon, a redtailed hawk, a bald eagle, a great horned owl, and a vulture. She will discuss about the care and survival of these unique birds, including what actions students can take to protect raptors.
