WELCOME TO THE CECC ANNUAL INSTITUTE 2012

Each year Community Early Childhood Councils (CECC) convene to network, share best practices and consider the future of early childhood development in Kentucky.  This year’s Annual Institute will be organized by the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood and will focus on the important role the Councils will play to help ensure that all Kentucky children are ready to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.  The Institute will focus on providing training and technical assistance and informational sessions designed to highlight potential activities for councils for the coming year and beyond.  Registration to the Institute is free and attendees need only pay for lodging and meals.

Training and Technical Assistance for
grant application process

A pre-conference training and technical assistance seminar is available for institute participants. This seminar will take place prior to the institute’s opening session on Tuesday May 22nd.
This seminar will focus on changes in the Request for Applications (RFA) and introduce the components of a high quality application.
Seating will be limited for this session and individuals wishing to attend this session should check the pre-conference box on the registration form.

Additional lodging is available for Institute attendees at the Holiday Inn Express in Carrollton, KY. The Holiday Inn is located approximately 1.6 miles from General Butler State Park and just off the KY-227 Exit of I-71N (Exit 44). Attendees should use the group name "Community Early Childhood Council Conference" when making reservations to receive the discounted group rate.
