April 12th Health Seminar: Addictions 

Substance abuse and addictive disease (alcohol and other drug dependence) make up the most common type of mental health problems in our community.  The effects of addiction on individuals, families and community cannot be overstated.  They are also some of the most misunderstood conditions in our community.

Join CWRU's Dr. Theodore Parran as he discusses the spectrum of substance use, abuse and addiction; the signs and symptoms of the disease; interventions and principals of treatment; and factors influencing recovery.
