2012 Business Plan Competition: Presentations, Awards & Reception 

How often do you get the chance to see someone's dream of starting their own business turn into a reality?  After a series of workshops to help prepare the entrants, TowsonGlobal received 24 executive summary submissions for this year's Business Plan Competition and after much deliberation our judges narrowed it down to 5 finalists.  Come watch these finalists present their business ideas and see the winners announced along with the awarding of cash and other prizes.  We'll finish the day with a networking reception.  The event promises to be exciting, enlightening, and absolutely worthwhile!

Finalists

• Hemova Port – A medical device aimed at providing safe, reliable and long lasting dialysis treatment for the millions of people whose very lives depend on the treatment
• Innovostics – Inexpensive rapid result testing that aims to give accurate diagnosis of bacterial, viral and parasitic infections
• Momo Scientific – A medical device that is aimed at the prevention of cervical cancer through safer removal of pre-cancerous lesions
• NeoStent – Medical stent that is more responsive to the blood flows of the human body compared with more static and unresponsive generally used devices
• ToolSpinner – Online tool rental marketplace that allows consumers the opportunity to rent, rather than purchase, expensive tools.

From I-95 (northbound and southbound): Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 west (toward Towson). Take exit 25, Charles Street, south. Proceed approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Towsontown Boulevard. Turn right onto Emerson Drive. Proceed to West Village Parking Garage.

From I-83 (northbound and southbound): Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 east (toward Towson). Take exit 25, Charles Street, south. Proceed approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Towsontown Boulevard. Turn right onto Emerson Drive. Proceed to West Village Parking Garage.

From I-70 (eastbound): Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 north (toward Towson). Take exit 25, Charles Street, south. Proceed approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Towsontown Boulevard. Turn right onto Emerson Drive. Proceed to West Village Parking Garage.

Parking Information

A Parking Attendant will be greeting you at the garage to direct you to the self-pay machines and guest parking. You MUST have a parking pass to park in the West Village Parking Garage. 

From the garage, there is a pathway that leads to the front of the West Village Commons building. It is about a 3-4 minute walk from the garage to the building. The Parking Attendant in the garage will direct you.
