  Eldercare Essentials is for YOU if:

  • You are interested in our Elder Mediation Training and you have not (yet) been exposed to elder care concepts. We highly recommend taking Eldercare Essentials prior to joining us for the Elder Mediation Training.

Elder Mediation Training is designed for trained mediators woman with head in handswho are interested in expanding their practice to include work with issues involving older adults. Our training focuses on inter-generational family conflicts, and also involves eldercare organizations.  We differentiate between elder mediation and mediation of other family disputes.

John Rymers is a mediator and Licensed Professional Counselor. He has a Masters degree in psychology and has been a mediator in private practice since 1986. John received mediation training in 1984 from CDR Associates, an international conflict resolution firm in Boulder. He taught mediation and negotiation with CDR Associates and at University of Denver's University College. He has taken an Advanced Elder Mediation class and he participated in DRCOG's ombudsman course. He volunteers with the Denver Probate Court.

Debbie Reinberg  started working in the geriatric field in 1987.  As VP at both GeriMed of America and Cornerstone Health Management, she implemented  hospital- based geriatric outpatient primary care programs.  She established  ElderCARE Network, a geriatric care management company in 1997.  Debbie served as the Executive Director for the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.  She received mediation training in 2006 from IADR, and participated in several elder mediation classes. She volunteers at Jefferson County Mediation Services and at the Denver Probate Court.
