2012 Prince George Pride Parade 

The Prince George Pride Society would like to welcome you to the 16th Annual Pride Parade. This is Northern British Columbia’s largest and only celebration for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and TwoSpirited peoples, their families, friends, and allies.

This year’s Pride Parade will be taking place on July 7th, 2012, at City Hall. The Prince George Pride Parade endeavours to explore and rejoice in the diverse vision of the Northern LGBTTQ community. Welcoming remarks from a few community leaders will begin promptly at 11:30am, and the Parade to follow thereafter.

Every year 200-300 people come out to walk and dance in the parade and we know we can achieve more this year! As we keep growing, this annual event will become one of Prince George’s largest events. So let us dress up our floats, wear the big costumes, and show Prince George how we celebrate Pride...be dramatic...be bold...be loud...and most of all…be proud!

The Prince George Pride Parade is to be an inclusive community event and we welcome and encourage all individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that wish to show their support for our community and assist in achieving objectives by participating in the Prince George Pride Parade.

To be a participant in the Parade, you must be prepared to be colourful and have tones of fun and present or create an entry that is uniquely yours...
