Dorkfest  2012  -  August 25

Dorkfest is the largest BMW M/Z3 Coupe event in North America. Our events provide an opportunity for M/Z3 Coupes to be displayed, and for their owners meet and mingle in a car-centric environment.   If you have never experienced a sea of M/Z3 Coupes before, it is truly an amazing sight!  Last year, a total of 56 M/Z3 Coupes descended upon the Blackhawk Museum in Northern California. This year we are bringing Dorkfest to Southern California for the first time. Our goal is to surpass the British record of 60 M/Z3 Coupes, hence the Drive for 65!

Dorkfest '12 is being held at the BMW Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC) in Port Hueneme, California.  Attendees will get a behind the scenes tour of the remarkable facility where hundreds of BMW, MINI, and Rolls Royce automobiles are processed each day.

Host Hotel:  Days Inn in Camarillo.    Please call 805.482.0761 for reservations.    Ask for a room in the Dorkfest/BMW Car Club block.  (1 bed - $ 63.20, 2 beds - $71.20 to $76.20)  This rate if for  Friday/Saturday night lodging.

Mullin Automotive Museum:   What do M and Z3 Coupes have in common with Bugattis, Delages, Delahayes, Hispano Suizas, Talbot-Lagos and Voisins?  They are all beautifully styled and amazingly engineered automobiles with curves and swoops that result in driveable art.  The Mullins Museum houses many exquisite automobiles as well as additional art from the 1920's and 30's.  Tickets for the optional afternoon trip to this museum must be purchased separately at www.mullinautomotivemuseum.com.  Space is limited, reserve your place now.
