Please join for a fun evening as we celebrate the end of another successful year at the Department of Viticulture and Enology! 

Friends, family, alumni, and members of the grape and wine industry are encouraged to be a part of this annual celebration held outdoors on the Viticulture & Enology lawn.

We look forward to seeing you there as we recognize the achievements of our graduates and introduce  our  Class of  2012! 

This annual event is generously sponsored by the San Joaquin Valley Winemakers and the Viticulture and Enology Alumni Association.  This year we are pleased to add Pardini's Catering and Banquets to our list of sponsors.  Individuals and companies may also help support the Department of Viticulture and Enology by sponsoring the event or a student!

Social & Hors d'oeuvres  at 5:30 pm on the Viticulture & Enology Lawn and Gazebo area on the Fresno State campus.

Seating for dinner begins at 6:15 pm followed by dinner,  recognition of our graduates, certificate students, and sponsors,  with brief announcements by the Viticulture Club and Enology Society, and our sponsors.2012 Pardinis Logo resized

Complete dinner includes Filet Mignonettes of Beef skewered with peppers and onions grilled & topped with Bordelaise sauce, green salad, rolls, fresh vegetables, traditional rice pilaf, non-alcoholic beverages and Fresno State Ice Cream for dessert.   Vegetarian or special dietary meals available upon request.

Student produced products from the Viticulture & Enology program, including Fresno State wine and raisins, will also be featured at no charge.  Must be 21 years of age and older.

$25 - General Admission

$15 - Fresno State Viticulture & Enology Students Only (currently enrolled)

$10 - Children's Meal ( 11 & under )

Class of 2012 Graduates Only-- Complimentary

$30 - Sponsor a dinner

$200 - Sponsor a table of 8

Individuals or companies are also welcome to help sponsor this event by including a donation, made payable to the San Joaquin Valley Winemaker's Group.  Funds will help offset expenses for this event, will lower the price of admission for everyone, and will enable us to provide a complimentary meal to all of our 2012 DVE graduates, while offering discounted admission to our viticulture and enology students.

The Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Convocation Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 18 in the Save Mart Center at Fresno State at 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.     Refreshmens will be served prior to the Convocation from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm in the Conley Art East Lawn Area on campus, compliments of the Ag One Foundation.  RSVP is requested to the Department of Viticulture and Enology office by May 9.
