Each year the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County partners with several community service providers to host the Homeless Stand Down.  Based on the military tradition of providing a day of rest, the stand down provides our homeless neighbors respite from life on the street.  By bringing together dozens of providers we save hundreds of people hours of travel time, provide a hot meal, a shower and a human contact that they may be lacking otherwise.  In order to make this event a success we rely on the whole community to come together.  We are seeking service providers to provide information and services to our homeless neighbors.

This year we will be at Hillsborough Community College Ybor City campus:  2002 N. 17th St., Tampa, FL 33605.
