Hengen Hockey Bantam/HS Shooting Camp           June through July 

Dear Parents and Players,

Devoting extra time to practicing and shooting pucks is one of the easiest and most effective ways to become a better hockey player. Hengen Hockey shooting camps are designed to focus only on shooting, shooting techniques and repetitions. 

Starting Monday the 11th of June and running through July 29th, I am looking for 25 Bantam to JV/V High-School level shooters to participate in up to 20 one hour on-ice shooting sessions over an 8 week period.  

I've created a unique payment structure for this camp since it is spread out over two months with varying hours and times.  The charge per player will be $24/hour x 15 sessions = $360.  However, players are welcome to come to all 20 sessions in which case the price comes out to $18.75/hour.  

The camp is limited to 25 total players

The goal of each session is for players to get a large number of reps shooting the puck while working on various shots (Slap, Snap, Wrist, Back-Hand) using scoring specific skating patterns.  Each shooter will improve strength, accuracy and technique during the 15-20 sessions. 

Weighted pucks will be used in addition to normal pucks to increase strength and power.  Additionally, coaches and current players with Division 1 to Professional experience will be attending many sessions to both lead and instruct. 

The shooting sessions will not fatigue the player's legs so that players can comfortably continue to do their main camps without worry of over fatigue. However, Hengen Hockey shooting camps will push the players to become better shooters and ultimately score more goals and assists.  The players will be shooting vs. both goalies and shooting boards.
