Giving USA 2012 "Hot Off the Press"

The State of Philanthropy Today

With Jimmie Alford,
acclaimed nonprofit industry leader

Please join us on June 19th for review and analysis of the just released Giving USA data and trends. As an annual thank you, The Alford Group offers a complimentary analysis of the Giving USA numbers to our past and current clients, friends and community leaders.

For this year's invitation-only event we are pleased to partner with Chuhak & Tecson, Attorneys at Law and The Chicago Community Trust  to welcome you to a breakfast discussion at the Trust's new location.

This timely seminar with insights from  Jimmie R. Alford, Founder & Chair of The Alford Group, Andrew P. Tecson, President of Chuhak & Tecson, and moderated by Andy Shaw, President & CEO of the Better Government Association, will identify how trends may affect revenue projections in 2012 and discuss organizational congruency as the focus shifts back toward growth with caution. This session will examine both contemporary and traditional approaches to developing and marketing the work of not-for-profit organizations.

We are excited for you to join us for this once a year event. You must be registered to attend and please remember to bring photo I.D. to show security at the 225 N. Michigan Avenue building.  Space is limited so please register soon and we look forward to seeing you on June 19th!

These outstanding community partners are pleased to share the Giving USA 2012 numbers with you.

For 97 years, The Chicago Community Trust, our region’s community foundation, has connected the generosity of donors with community needs by making grants to nonprofit organizations working to improve metropolitan Chicago. The Trust, together with its donors, granted more than $100 million to nonprofit organizations in 2010: developing new audiences to sustain Chicago’s vibrant arts organizations, protecting the human services safety net for those hardest hit by the recession, stemming the devastating effects of foreclosures on our communities, elevating teaching to meet world-class standards, and improving conditions for healthy and active lifestyles.
