County Trail Day - Sawmill Re-Route
County Trail Day, Sawmill Re-Route
This will be the first Overland Mountain Bike Club trail day on the Sawmill reroute. Overland Mountain Bike Club provided the county with a grant that allowed them to get a much larger grant and improve the sustainability of this fall line trail. Work will consist of working on the reroute of the bottom of the trail near the tie in to Nomad. We will be building new trail and clearing the corridor for the new trail. We will be partnering with local bike shops to provide some schwag for the volunteers. 
In 2011 hundreds of volunteers participated throughout the summer to build about 80% of the trail. Overland MTB Club is working in conjunction with the US Forest Service and Wildlands Restoration Volunteers (WRV) to provide a significant number of volunteers in order to see this project to completion.
