Lake Villa Township 5K Run/Walk & 10K ~ Bud's Run 

Bud's Run is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of running a wooded trail and provides many of the local not-for-profit organizations an opportunity to raise needed funds to support their activities. The race is held on Saturday, September 22 at the Lake Villa Township Caboose Park and runs through Grant Woods Forest Preserve. It includes a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run on crushed-gravel trails at Grant Woods, one of the largest forest preserves in Lake County, which traverse wide-open prairies, quiet woodlands, and marshes teeming with wildlife.

Race begins at 9:00 a.m.
Pre-registration online is recommended. T-shirt will be available for the first 300 who register.
