A pair of knit wits: Arne & Carlos are bringing their Christmas kitsch to StevenBe on June 21st:

This must be what Christmas is like in Florida. But for the moment let's turn to cooler ideas, 55 Christmas Balls to Knit by Arne & Carlos. Just looking at the cover of this book will draw you in.

Arne and Carlos love Christmas and decorating their Norwegian home. The Christmas balls they designed are in the Scandinavian tradition. These are perfect to knit for gifts as they are fast and require small amounts of yarn (stash). Think table centerpieces and window dressings, wreaths and decorations on your presents for these beautiful knitted ornaments.

The guys run a knitwear design company. In 2008, four of  these little Nordic ball designs were bought by Comme des Garcons, Japan's most respected design house. They were sold in their shops in Tokyo, Paris, New York, London and Hong Kong. Now you have the opportunity to knit them yourself.

StevenBe brings you all of the kitsch, whimsy, and tradition for one day only. We have planned the perfect day including a morning workshop, festive themed luncheon, and an afternoon party complete with a booksigning and all the trimmings!
