Leading Healthy Change
In Our Communities

A Healthy NewsWorks® project

Cover IllustrationDuring the 2011-2012 school year, Healthy NewsWorks student journalists researched, wrote, and illustrated profiles of 12 prominent leaders in the Philadelphia area who have something important to say about health and are giving back to the community.

The profiles were published in May 2012 as a book and web project, Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities.

Donate a book!

$20: One book (good for one classroom or library)
$50: Three books (great for a school library, a guidance counselor's office, and a school nurse's office)
$75: Five books (excellent for sharing among several classrooms or for a community literacy or health program)
$150: Ten books (high-impact contribution to schools or programs)

If you or your organization would like to make a larger contribution, please contact us.
