From Sea to Table-scape

eSS is serving up our first workshop in a new series of food events highlighting South Shore's local seasonal ingredients and unique community-based businesses.

We're excited to announce that the Roman Table will host our first event: Sea to Tablescape, Organic Entertaining, in honor of the new Scituate-based Community Supported Fishery (CSF). Captain Frank Mirarchi will be catching and providing local, fresh fish that owner of The Roman Table, Cynthia Gallo-Casey, will prepare before our eyes as we talk about the importance of sustaining our local fishing community. 

Local farm, Sweet Georgia P's, will be providing fresh produce that Chef Cynthia will transform into a summer side dish. Samples will be provided.


Take inspiration from educator and floral designer Kelly Dolloff of Artistic Blossoms Floral Design Studio as she share her secrets for designing a tablescape using items found in nature, and The Roman Table's unique collection of dinnerware.
 
Along with the local cuisine, attendees will be able to sample a variety of organic wines provided by Front Street Gourmet.

As we will be focusing on hyper-local ingredients sourced locally the exact menu will be revealed a few days before the class.
