Harvest Helpers 7/28 

Join United Way of Central Maryland on July 28, 2012 to glean (sort and pack) produce that will be donated to low-income central Marylanders who do not have consistent access to healthy food.

Individuals, families and friends of all ages are invited and welcome to come.

Nothing is more basic than access to healthy food. Yet there are more than 300,000 central Maryland residents who lack consistent access to it. United Way of Central Maryland's Access to Healthy Food Initiative aims to increase access to healthy food by 1.5 million pounds annually for three years--ultimately improving the health and well-being of our most vulnerable neighbors so they can become more self-sufficient.
