Please join other AFP members, as we learn more about Sarah’s outstanding career in healthcare fundraising, and the amazing institutions that have benefited from her leadership.

Sarah Panetta joined the OHSU Foundation as Vice President for Development in September of 2010. She leads a Development team of 59 employees, including 30 front-line fundraisers, 16 support staff and 13 staff members focused on prospect management and reporting. OHSU Foundation is working toward a goal of raising $100 million per year consistently by the end of fiscal year 2013-14.

Before joining OHSU Foundation, Panetta served as associate chair in the Department of Development at Mayo Clinic. During her nine years at Mayo, its fundraising program grew from raising an average of $140 million a year in 2001 to completing a 5-year, $1.25 billion campaign in 2009.

Prior to joining Mayo, Ms. Panetta served in the External Relations Department at Harvard Business School for eleven years, working in the annual fund, stewardship, major and principal gifts, and serving as chief of staff for two years.

Ms. Panetta graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.  She and her husband, Wayne, have two children.
