Tuesday, July 31st 6pm -7 pm
Join the discussion!
When: Tuesday, July 31 2012, 6pm to 7pm
Where: Old Methodist Meeting House, Wareham
Who: Led by SEMAP volunteer and farmer, Bob Bailey
What: Local food is fresher and tastes better than food shipped long distances from other states or countries. Knowing where your food comes from and how it is grown or raised enables you to choose safe food from farmers you trust. Buying local food gets you outside, keeping us in touch with our neighbors, the seasons, and the harvest calendar.
At this seminar, learn more about why supporting our local food system is important: ecologically, economically, and socially -- and how YOU can support your local food system!
