Courage Games IV  -  A CrossFit Competition

WHAT:  A 4-workout, outdoor CrossFit competition testing athletes' ability to handle feats of strength, endurance, balance, coordination and overall athleticism.  From the unique programming mind of Josh Courage comes four intense, challenging, fun as hell, and proably pretty interesting workouts.  And with it being completely outdoors, you can expect that nature will be involved in some way!

WHEN:  Saturday,  August 4th - 9am - 5pm

WHERE:  Courage Performance Outdoor Training Center (Washington Waldorf School)

WHO:  Anyone with a base level of CrossFit training (meaning you have experience with all the major lifts, and won't die on a 400 meter run.  If I have to explain what the lifts are, you aren't ready!).  Scaling will NOT be availible, so understand that while the programming will be such that scaling really shouldn't be needed, if you can't clean an empty bar or anything like that, perhaps train a little longer before signing up for an event!

WHAT TO BRING:  All of your workout gear, including jump rope, Oly shoes, wraps, tape etc.  You just never know what will be thrown at you.  Some money for goodies and such while there.  Food to fuel yourself and some more food to bring to a potluck style cookout and pool party after the fun is over!

WHAT WILL BE THERE:  Water, Courage Bars, Core Warrior Bars, Courage Performance shirts, tank tops, and socks, and perhaps a few other things.  There is a Starbucks and Safeway within walking distance, and bathrooms on site.

AWARDS:  Male and female winners (and 2nd and 3rd) can expect to receive a good prize packet of goods from some pretty impressive sponsors (Courage Bars, Core Foods, 2XU, message and more!)
