Watch the Mac Race 2012 

The "Mac" is the oldest and longest freshwater sailboat race.  Over 300 boats will leave Chicago in groups, racing the 333 miles to Mackinac Island at the north end of Lake Michigan.

Sail Chicago is offering a unique opportunity to view the start of the race from  two of our boats, Recess, our newest Colgate 26, and Priorities, our Hunter 34, from Belmont Harbor.

Spend the day on the water watching this exciting race.

Boat sharing fee for this event is $20. 

Plan to be out on the water for several hours.
