Details
Event: A portion of the proceeds from the 2012 BSLA Golf & Give will fund the BSLA Student Scholarship Program and support the NPS Good Neighbors Program.
Play: Shotgun Scramble - Groups start at different holes at the same time, 2 teams max per hole. Players on the same team hit from the ball closest to the pin.

A Benefit to Support Education in Landscape Architecture
BSLA Student Scholarship Program
The BSLA awards Student Scholarhips for student(s) from Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts who are pursuing an education in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. This scholarship program offers up to three scholarships for tuition, books, supplies.
2012 Recipients include:
- Mike Albert, Harvard Graduate School of Design
- Emily Milliman, Harvard Graduate School of Design
- Sean Walters, Boston Architectural College
Good Neighbors is an active, place-based education program that fosters appreciation of the value of public parks in young children. It takes place at Fairsted and uses the restored landscape, historic Olmsted office, archives, and model shop to explore landscape design and park stewardship. Students learn why parks are important for people and begin to imagine their own role in the care and stewardship of these special landscapes.
