Floricane's three-evening Summer of Self-Discovery series is designed to give you tools and experiences that you can walk out the door and immediately put into action. Using the Insights Discovery® assessment as a foundation, our Summer of Self-Discovery is built to be a high-energy, fun and low-cost way to quickly bolster your effectiveness at work, on teams and in leadership roles. At Floricane, we know that self-awareness is the cornerstone for personal growth and development, and for effective leadership. We're taking the best elements of three of our most popular Insights workshops -- individual effectiveness, team effectiveness and leadership effectiveness -- and boiling them down into two-hour, highly interactive learning sessions. The workshops will be held from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. in the Richmond Times-Dispatch building downtown.
 
Facilitators John Sarvay, Debra Saneda and Jim Johns are ready to take your self-awareness journey to new levels with these three workshops! Here's a snapshot of the learning outcomes for each session:

AUGUST 2: INDIVIDUAL EFFECTIVENESS -- Raise awareness of how style/preferences impact communication/language. Learn how to identify color preferences in others, and ways to adapt to be more effective with them. Discover how stress influences how we show up, and develop steps to enhance your effectiveness.

AUGUST 9: TEAM EFFECTIVENESS -- We'll introduce the Insights Team Effectiveness Model with the 8 attributes of highly effective teams. You'll be introduced to tools and activities to help you better understand how personality effects team performance, and ways to maximize the way your teams engage in their work.

AUGUST 16: LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS -- We'll share the Insights Leadership Model, and introduce you to the ways that effective leadership thrives in each area of the Insights wheel. You'll discover tools and techniques to help identify your own leadership strengths – and opportunities. And you'll start to develop your own leadership road map as a result of your learning.

Each workshop is just $10 (register for all three sessions for $25). Your ticket includes refreshments, opportunities to network, and a whole lot of casual learning. (And free parking!)

You must have a completed Insights Discovery personal profile to participate in these sessions.

Don't have an Insights profile? No worries! You can register to complete the online Insights assessment and attend a special pre-session workshop from 4:40-5:30 on August 2 -- and be ready to rock for the rest of the summer series!
