CEPP’s metro area summer meeting, August 30^th, 2012

“EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR”

Friends and associates, please join us for our summer metro area meeting on August 30^th at the University of Denver. Our hot, dry summer has created tinderbox conditions throughout the west, and we’ve already seen several large, devastating fires in Colorado. Emergency communications have become more critically important than ever, and this event provides a forum to discuss best practices and protocols at this meeting. Our guest speakers include experts from Verizon Wireless, Xcel Energy and the Joint Communications Task Force for Denver 911. We’ll also have an update about the Connect Colorado resource registry.
