The Kerzner Lecture Series was established in honor of the achievements of Dr. Harold Kerzner (Ph.D., MS, Engineering and MBA),who has served as full-time and emeritus faculty since 1976. It serves as a reflection of the ongoing support and commitment Baldwin Wallace University has to the development of the profession of project management.

Over the years, a new breed of project manager has appeared. The new project manager has significantly more business knowledge than their predecessors. The project manager must make both project and business-related decisions and manage multiple stakeholders, each of whom has a different definition of project success, different reporting requirements and a different perception of value at the end of the project. As a further complication, the true value of the project may not be known until well after the project is completed. This presentation will highlight changes and advancements developing in the field of project management.

The 2012 Kerzner Lecture Series is sponsored by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
