3rd Annual "Bake Bethesda A Pie Contest"
Bethesda Central Farm Market, located at Bethesda Elementary School 7600 Arlington Blvd. at Old Georgetown Road Bethesda, MD 2081, on Sundays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. is holding its 3rd annual “Bake Bethesda a Pie” contest. Last year over 200 people watched the judging of over fifty fabulous pies and helped raise money for Manna Foods!
To enter, contestants must be amateur bakers and there are two divisions: adult and children. All registrations are free and there is a $5 fee, payable at the event that will benefit Manna Food Bank. The contest will be judged on Sunday, September 2 at 11 a.m. at the market by some of Washington’s top food professionals. Prizes, from area merchants and restaurants will be awarded for both sweet and savory pies in both the adult and children's categories.
