George Lintz (Moderator)

Mr. Lintz is the President of Bellaire Advisers, LLC, which manages Bellaire Real Estate Investment Trust. Through the REIT, Mr. Lintz manages the real estate investments of high net worth individuals, pension funds, and individual retirement accounts.  Mr. Lintz is also an advisor to the real estate investment and management company, BRC, Inc. Prior to Bellaire Advisers, Mr. Lintz founded his own investment-banking firm, Lintz Glover White & Company, Inc., where he advised over $20 billion of corporate and municipal finance transactions.  In 1994, Mr. Lintz was tapped by the California State Senate to serve as an advisor to the Local Government Investment Committee; where he assisted in authoring the legislation that governs the investment practices of California cities, counties, and local governmental entities.   In 2000, he co-founded Quintessence Photonics Corporation, a semiconductor manufacturing company, and took it public in 2006.  He served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Quintessence from 2000 to 2009 and Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of the publicly traded company, QPC Lasers, Inc from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Lintz received his MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business.

Marcel Bermudez

Marcelo Bermúdez is the President of Figueroa Capital Group. He specializes in structuring commercial real estate debt and equity options for clients. He works for a family office that owns the Charles Dunn Company which manages 23 million square feet of property and invests in properties throughout California and Arizona. Marcelo is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and the Lusk Center Stan Ross Program in Real Estate. He was appointed President of USC Marshall School of Business Alumni Association for 2009-2011. He was also a National Board Member for the University and continues to play a dynamic role for the University when needed. He has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Asian Professional Exchange, Urban Land Institute, Urban Plan project by ULI, BOMA Medical Office Building Sub-Committee and is a contributing writer for Commercial Property Executive Magazine. Marcelo was presented with the Sherak Inspiration Award by the Fulfillment Fund for his commitment to excellence and community. He is also a recent recipient of the Widney Alumni House Award given by the University of Southern California.  

Rohan Gupta

Over the course of his career, Rohan Gupta has proved himself to be an entrepreneurial leader in all aspects of real estate investment. Rohan’s early success came from his ability to recognize under-performing assets. In 2002, he began his real estate career when he acquired a portfolio of 6 floundering apartment buildings in the USC area of Los Angeles. Within one year, these group of buildings became a vibrant 150-bed student housing community; in the following three years, the portfolio blossomed into 450 beds. In 2006, Rohan founded STUHO, a student housing management company that is now one of the largest private management companies in the USC area with over 1,000 beds. In 2010, Rohan left STUHO to become Managing Director of GFO Companies, an investment firm focused on real estate acquisition and operation in the Mid-West and Western United States. Through his leadership, the GFO Portfolio has doubled from 800 apartment units to over 1600 units in less then two years. In 2003, Rohan showed to be a dedicated promoter of community improvement, re-developing an abandoned apartment building into a special care facility. Today, that facility is the Grand Avenue Center for Dignity, an 8,000 square foot treatment center for substance abuse.

Noah Hochman

Noah Hochman is a 12-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and is the Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions at Triumph Management Company.  Triumph is a private real estate company that acquires, develops, manages and invests in multi-family and commercial value-added properties though out the Western U.S.  Mr. Hochman is responsible for managing all company real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, development, JV investments, syndications, effectuating 1031 tax exchanges and financing of assets.   Mr. Hochman sits as a member of the executive leadership team responsible for instituting the company strategic vision and direction.   Prior to Triumph, Mr. Hochman was Vice President of Acquisitions at Granite Peak Partners, a private real estate company that was a sponsor for syndication and Joint Venture real estate investment partnerships.  During his real estate career, he has acquired over $400 million in commercial real estate and structured over $150 million in debt financing.   Mr. Hochman has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California Los Angeles and is a licensed as both a California Real Estate Broker and California Mortgage Loan Originator,

Joseph Soleiman

Joseph Soleiman serves as The ICO Group’s Director of Acquisitions and General Counsel.  The ICO  Group is a real estate investment and development company  based in Downtown Los Angeles. Mr.  Soleiman heads the firm’s acquisition efforts in ongoing effort to build and diversify its portfolio of holdings. Prior to founding various successful real estate investment  and syndication firms, Mr. Soleiman  was a  corporate attorney  specializing in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets matters  in the Los  Angeles offices of a New York based multi-national law firm.  He served clients domestically and abroad, ultimately being tapped to open the firm’s Palo Alto offices  Mr. Soleiman  is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, with College  Honors, and received his Bachelor of Arts with summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors from the  University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in business economics with a minor in accounting.  Mr. Soleiman is a member of the California Bar Association and a Realtor and real estate broker registered  with the California Department of Real Estate.
