Making Democracy Run 5k/1k: Tallahassee 

To encourage voter participation in the 2012 general election, the League of Women Voters of Florida Education Fund is hosting a "Making Democracy Run” 5k run/1k walk event on Saturday, November 3, 2012. The race will begin at 8:30 AM at the Florida Department of Transportation, and will end at the Leon County Courthouse, enabling participants to cast their general election ballot at the end of the race.

The League's goal is to attract hundreds of citizens from across Leon County, all of whom will be presented with a nonpartisan Voter Guide and a race T-shirt.

Participation in the event is $25.00, and the proceeds will benefit the League's voter education work throughout Florida. Come join us and MAKE DEMOCRACY RUN in Leon County!
