Presented by:
Join Ten at the Top for the third Our Upstate Vision Forum of 2012 on Thursday, September 6th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. (reception to follow) at the Tri-County Tech Pendleton Campus in the Marshall Parker Auditorium.
The number of adults over the age of 65 living in the Upstate is growing and projected to continue to increase at record numbers as the “Baby Boomers” move toward retirement. As we look toward the future of the Upstate, what are some of the specific things that the new generation of seniors will need and expect?
This forum will include an overview of what seniors are looking for from their retirement years from Jack Hansen, co-author of the book “Shaping A Life of Significance For Retirement.” There will also be a panel discussion on Life After Full-Time Work – Staying Active, Engaged and Involved as well as an overview of future trends in health care and senior living.
