See recent research on social connectedness and its converse -- social isolation -- and the impact they have on health, especially among older adults. Also learn about emerging research on how social media influences social connectedness, and find out about other activities that can expand support networks among individuals and between community residents and policymakers.

Identifying needs; measuring progress -- Jane Tigan, Minnesota Compass
Find out about trends in employment, aging, and racial and ethnic diversity to gain insight into future changes that will likely influence the well-being of residents and the prosperity of your region.
