Breaking Free is pleased to announce our Fifth Annual Greater West Suburban Run for Recovery will take place this year as we move back to the recently renovated Waubonsie Lakes Trail at Waubonsie Lake Park in Aurora. We celebrate September as National Recovery Month with this early morning run of either 5K or 10K distances around picturesque Waubonsie Lake. Please join us in this celebration of healthy living and the miracle of recovery. The event features healthy options for runners and walkers of all abilities and is suitable for the whole family!
Run, walk or stroll to support Breaking Free's community services. We provide the highest quality education, prevention and counseling services focused on the prevention and treatment of alcohol and substance abuse, child abuse and mental health in your community.
Breaking Free has provided services in Kane, DuPage, Grundy, Kendall and Will counties for 35 years. Last year alone we again assisted more than 15,000 people and families.
