The Matrix and Ostrom's 8 Design Features 

This will be a repeat of the presentation I did with Steve Hayes and David Sloan Wilson at ACBS World Confrence X. This will also serve as a practice session for me. Once I am very comfortable doing the presentations, I will have one or more videotaped. Since many people can't come to Maine (USA) and see me present in person, I'm making at least one available online. I probably won't get to the "ACT Gone Wild" that was generated in DC, we will probably have a pretty good time.

Simply put, I use the Matrix diagram above to introduce an audience to Ostrum's design features of successful groups. 

1. Establish collaboration and build group identity,
2. Build psychological flexibility and curiosity,
3. Demonstrate the rest of Ostrum's design features of successful groups.
