Business Plan 101: Creating Your Business Plan(s)                                         September 5

Business Plans for Your Successful Startup

This is the introduction to creating a successful Business Plan.  It provides the necessary first steps in the organization and research needed for your unique opportunity.  Take-a-ways include a competitive analysis and your first year budget.

Business Plan 102: Marketing, Promotion and Sales                                  September 13

Finding Your Customers – Customers Finding You

Use our Four C’s approach to creating a successful Marketing program for your startup or growing company.  If you need to SELL we show you traditional and social networking approaches that get SALES.  Take-a-ways include a promotional plan and your first year sales plan.

Business Plan 103: Business Plan Financials and Budgeting                   September 19

Build your Financial Plan and get SCORE’s Template

We use a case study approach to describe startup costs and the three main financial statements you’ll need to complete your Business Plan.  You’ll learn simple analytical techniques including Break-Even Analysis and ROI that lenders and investors crave.  We’ll provide you with SCORE’s own Financials Template to help you develop a complete financials package.  Take-a-ways include startup costs and navigating templates.

Business Plan 104: Write a Successful Plan                                                    September 26

Get Funding or your own Command and Control

Business Plans must be written to have reality.  Well written plans describe how your “business” will be successful so you can provide returns to investors or pay back a loan.  Even if you self-fund, you want a Command and Control road map to guide you.  Take-a-ways include Formal Business Plans and discussions on various funding sources.
