Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) invites all to the 9th Annual ‘Plant Thyme Fall Luncheon’ in conjunction with the Annual Herb and Plant Sale – at the Pearland Community Center, 3523 Liberty Dr., on Friday, October 12. Luncheon tickets are $30, with proceeds benefiting the Joe Miller Scholarship Fund, KPB education projects and our new Environmental Education Center Building Fund.
Our speaker, Chet Garner is host and creator of PBS' Daytripper. Chet created The Daytripper to inspire folks to get out and explore the Lone Star State. Sure, national travel shows are entertaining, but that’s where they stop. The Daytripper is all about destinations in Texas for Texans, which means you can visit whenever you want. So, come out to the Plant Thymne Fall Luncheon, hear Chet speak and hear about his favorite Texas destinations.
The doors to the Center will be open at 10:30am, where a silent auction will also take place in conjunction with the luncheon. Please make your plans now to be on hand for the Plant Thyme Fall Luncheon and Plant Sale on October 12, 2012. Plants from the sale will also be available for purchase on October 13, 2012 from 8AM to noon at the Pearland Farmers Market, located at Zychlinski Park, 2243 Grand Blvd. Call 281-652-1659 for more information about the luncheon or plant sale information.
