Possible Breakout Session Topics:

In addition to the symposium panel dialog and audience interaction, we will be having a series of small-group discussions where guests and participants can break away and go into greater depth on topics related to the theme. Each of the sessions will have a leader and a title or topic. Some will be set in advance, others will arise from the dynamic of the symposium. We will periodically announce and update the times and onsite locations for these sessions. Most will take place during the scheduled meal times and breaks. Some possible titles/topics:

+ Virginia Woolf and the ephemeral landscape
+ Fast-tracking the architectural design/execution process (design/build, software advances)
+ The verge between architecture and landscape architecture
+ What's happening elsewhere at the fringe?
+ Pop-up art, landscape, architectural happenings
+ Including artists on the architectural design team
+ Gaudi's creative process on the Basilica y Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia
+ Mitchell Joachim and the work of Terreform1
+ Hang Time, Tsang Time: Sound Over Time
+ Permission
+ New Developments in Ephemeral Materials
+ The Travesia as an experimental inter-disciplinary, collaborative project
